Casting

How to use abilities

Java
  1. Your abilities sit in hotbar slots 8 and 9. Select the slot to cast.
  2. Your Special casts with a double-tap of Sneak, or turn on a third button in slot 7.
  3. Prefer keys? Type /ability java: Sneak + F, Sneak + Left-click with empty hands, and double Sneak. Rebind them in /ability.
Bedrock
  1. The same hotbar buttons: tap slot 8 or 9 to cast.
  2. Double-tap sneak for your Special, or add a slot 7 button in /ability.
  3. Want a wand instead? /console gives the Divine Focus: attack for Primary, use for Secondary, sneak + use for Special.

Questions

Quick answers

Does switching gods cost money?
No, switching is free. You wait 1 day after a switch, then 3, 5 and 7 days. Go 7 days without switching and it resets to 1.
Do I lose progress if I switch?
No. Each god keeps its own God Ranks, God Points, Favor and skill build. Come back and it is all still there.
What does Olympian do for switching?
Reach God Rank 20 and that god is yours as an Olympian. Switching to it, or back to your home god, never adds a cooldown.
How do I get God Points?
Every God Rank gives one. Ranks need skill points and Favor earned for that god. Spend points in /gp.
How do I cast abilities?
Hotbar slots 8 and 9 by default, and double-sneak for your Special. Type /ability to change controls or save presets, or /console for a wand.
Can abilities hit other players?
Only if you both turned PvP on with /pvp on. Armour cuts ability damage, and deaths caused by players never lose items.
How do I trade with other players?
Use /mailbox send <player> for the stack in your hand, Chest Shops, /orders or /gems pay. The old /trade was removed.
Can I buy abilities or ranks with money?
No. Abilities, God Ranks and God Points are earned in play. Donor tiers add cosmetics, server-rank head starts and XP bonuses.
How do I join on Bedrock?
Address Play.CourtofRelics.net and port 25565. The port is a separate box on Bedrock.
Which gods are in early access?
Thanatos and Melinoë right now. Players with an /early or /sub membership can pledge to them early.
