The Rules
Short, plain, and enforced the same way for everyone — whatever your rank, house or playtime.
10 rules
- 01
No cheating, and no software that plays for you
X-ray, kill aura, reach, fly, auto-clickers, macros, fast-break, baritone and any client that automates play are forbidden. Optifine, Sodium, Lunar, Badlion, minimaps without cave or entity radar, and cosmetic packs are all fine. If you are unsure whether a mod is allowed, ask staff before you use it.
- 02
No exploiting bugs
Duplication, item voiding, out-of-bounds travel, unintended teleports and any trick that produces resources the game did not mean to give you are bannable. Reporting a bug you found is always treated better than using it — verified reports are rewarded, not punished.
- 03
No griefing, stealing or trap-building outside declared conflict
Rivalry between pantheons is part of the game; breaking someone’s build is not. Protected regions, altars and sanctuaries are off limits. Lava-casting, obsidian-flooding and boundary-spite builds count as griefing.
- 04
Alt accounts may not farm the same rewards twice
You may own more than one account. You may not use a second account to feed Favor to your own house, pad a boss damage roll, take both sides of a duel wager, or claim a reward already claimed. Daily caps are per player, not per login.
- 05
Keep chat civil
No slurs, harassment, sexual content, or targeting anyone over race, religion, gender, sexuality or disability. House chat and party chat are not exempt. Heated rivalry is expected; cruelty is not.
- 06
No advertising or poaching
Do not post other server addresses, recruit for other communities in chat or DMs, or use signs and books as billboards.
- 07
No real-money trading
In-game currency, relics, ranks and accounts may not be sold, bought or traded for real money, gift cards, or goods on other platforms. Everything on this server is earned in it.
- 08
One identity, honestly held
Do not impersonate staff or another player, do not evade a punishment on a new account, and do not share an account you intend to keep. A ban follows the person, not the username.
- 09
Do not disrupt the server itself
Lag machines, chunk-loading contraptions built to hurt performance, spam of any kind, and attacks on the server or its Discord are grounds for an immediate permanent ban and, where relevant, a report.
- 10
Staff decisions stand at the time they are made
Argue an appeal in the right place, not in chat. Staff can act on the spirit of these rules where the letter has not caught up — but they answer for it, and every action is logged and reviewable.
How punishment works
Sanctions escalate. A first offence is usually a warning; the same offence again is a mute or a temporary ban; a third is permanent. Cheating, real-money trading and attacks on the server skip straight to the end of that ladder.
| Offence | First time | Again |
|---|---|---|
| Chat conduct | Warning | Mute, then temporary ban |
| Griefing or theft | Rollback and warning | Temporary ban, then permanent |
| Advertising | Mute | Permanent ban |
| Bug exploiting | Rollback and temporary ban | Permanent ban |
| Cheat clients | Permanent ban | — |
| Real-money trading | Permanent ban | — |
| Attacks on the server | Permanent ban | — |
Illicit gains are removed in every case. A house does not keep Favor, currency or standings earned through a broken rule, and a standing can be corrected after the fact if evidence comes to light.
Putting it right
I think I was punished unfairly. What now?
How long do appeals take?
Someone broke a rule. How do I report it?
My build was destroyed. Can it be restored?
Are these rules final?
